I bought this very handy visitors book for knowledge for my upcoming vacation. Bought this for a planned trip to Michigan, to better select what we'll have time to do there. The section on Mackinac Island and the Grand Hotel is especially helpful, and has pictures. Very good detailed descriptions of day trips and various attractions, and this guide is exactly what I was hoping to find.
